The Virtue of Prudence – No Margin Ned: Finances
The virtue of prudence goes beyond becoming more efficient and productive. It’s about managing all of our personal resources so you can focus your life on what matters most.
This fun video series by Kevin Hanly really embraces what the virtue of prudence is all about.

We’re exploring the various areas of life in which we can nurture margin. Margin helps us form lives that are meaningful and purpose-driven. The area of finances is one important area to bring under control.
How the Virtue of Prudence Improves Your Finances
“No Margin Ned” recommends that you get rid of your budget and financial tracking software so you have no idea how much money you are spending. Unfortunately, that’s the way most of us live. But the virtue of prudence teaches us to make plans to achieve goodness in our life, and this includes our finances.
Getting our finances under control reduces our stress, eases tension in our relationships, and helps us to achieve our goals. These are all important and good things! While I’m not a financial advisor, I’d love to teach you the principles of the virtue of prudence in a simple diagram that I call a Behavioral Template. I’ll also include a brief video to walk you through the steps of this powerful template.
The “Make Time for What Matters Behavioral Template” will give you an important framework for bringing order to your life so you can start living a meaningful, purpose-driven life focused on God.
